Inter-App-tivity

The Curve, Volume 3, 2013 – Humans may not have harnessed their sixth sense (yet), but luckily there are apps for that. As the walls that once stood between digital platforms come down, apps are beginning to sync up with each other to learn more about users’ behaviors, preferences, and daily routines. This new open dialogue between apps—or Inter-App-tivity, as we are calling it—is stepping in where the five senses leave off to provide consumers with an eerie, almost superhuman sense of anticipatory perception. The payoff is the promise of highly tailored dynamic content that reflects consumers’ innermost preferences and predicts future desires, all served up in real time.
