Indie Women Featured on Cynopsis Digital

February 27, 2013 – NBCUniversals Integrated Media group has premiered Indie Women, a new documentary from the division’s in-house production arm, Curve Films. The 10-minute film spotlights a consumer segment: women who are above the average age of marriage (27), are unmarried, and have no kids and aren’t living with a partner. This consumer segment is 31 million strong and spends $1 trillion each year and over-index on things like television watching and social media influence. The film features NBCUniversal personalities such as Megan Hilty (Smash) and SuChin Pak (DailyCandy), as well as experts like Toby Barlow (JWT), Claudia Cahill (OMD), and NYU sociologist Eric Klinenberg. Indie Women is the second documentary of this type released by Integrated Media, following last year’s film on Generation Y, Y Now.
